Land of Masharoom

Story concept behind this illustration:

This is a children's story called 'The Land of Masharoom' where glowing mushrooms grow as large as red oaks and unusually coloured animals can talk. This illustration sets the stage for the fair, which has come to the forest hamlet. The fairy mayor of Masharoom has come through the maze to greet a few of the entertainers while other members from the fair look on.
