A few years back when I was down in Florida, I collected large amounts of very tiny seashells. The plan was to make something out of them, but as of yet, I haven't figured out what that might be.
So this morning, I made a rough drawing of a woman turning into a salmon. I did this in about an hour, without going back to basics, which was a mistake, as the proportions are off. But rather than fixing it here, this will be remedied in the painting.
I've decided to make this into a painting, and adding the tiny sea shells as the scales on her tail. I may also add some copper leaf, muted down to create interest and highlights.
